Basketball Game Preview: Campbellsport Cougars vs. Lomira Lions

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Campbellsport Cougars duke it out with the Lomira Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday... Campbellsport is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

Campbellsport lost 68-44 to St. Mary's Springs on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 376th, while the Ledgers are ranked 119th).

Meanwhile, Lomira strolled past Mayville with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 63-48. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Campbellsport's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Lomira, their win bumped their record up to 11-3.

Campbellsport lost to Lomira on the road by a decisive 56-39 margin in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Can Campbellsport avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
