Dynamic duo of Tim Ofesi and Ricky Wilson lead Alief Elsik to victory

Recap: Alief Elsik Rams vs. Strake Jesuit Fighting Crusaders
The Alief Elsik Rams's three-game losing streak came to an end on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Strake Jesuit as Alief Elsik made off with a 53-33 victory. That 53-33 margin sets a new team best for Alief Elsik this season.
Leading Alief Elsik to victory were Tim Ofesi and Ricky Wilson. Ofesi scored ten points along with seven rebounds, while Wilson dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Wilson has scored at least 25% of Alief Elsik's points. David Uwalaka was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with six rebounds and six steals.
Alief Elsik's victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-9. As for Strake Jesuit, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 7-9.
Alief Elsik will take on Austin in a holiday battle at TBD on Thursday at. Strake Jesuit's road trip will continue as they head out to face Jordan at 1:30 p.m. on December 28th. Jordan presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Strake Jesuit in Texas (Jordan is ranked 78th, while Strake Jesuit is ranked 337th).
