Baseball Recap: Cardinal Mooney Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Archbishop Hoban, Cardinal Mooney was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Austintown-Fitch Falcons by a score of 4-0. The game was the first time the Cardinals have beaten the Falcons on their field since April 19, 2023.

The team relied heavily on Ryan Reese, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. That stolen base marked the first that he snagged this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaden Reese, who went 1-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
