Baseball Recap: Pocomoke Comes Up Short

Pocomoke fell victim to Snow Hill and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Pocomoke now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Snow Hill, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-3.

The future could be bright for both Pocomoke and Snow Hill: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. The Warriors will look to extend Cambridge-South Dorchester's three-game losing streak when they meet at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Snow Hill will try to hand North Dorchester their fourth-straight loss when the two meet at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
