Softball Recap: Western Hills Takes a Loss

Western Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Montgomery County Indians. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolverines of the 11-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2023.

Western Hills' loss dropped their record down to 8-22. As for Montgomery County, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Montgomery County beat Western Hills by a score of 7-3 later that day.
