Basketball Recap: Turner's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Turner can bid farewell to their nine-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Schlagle Stallions as the Turner Golden Bears made off with a 43-18 win. For the Golden Bears, this counts as revenge for the 70-12 victory the Stallions walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2016.

Turner's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-10. As for Schlagle, they dropped their record down to 1-7 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

When Turner and Schlagle next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Turner will challenge Seaman and their 13-game winning streak at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Schlagle will try to stop Highland Park's three-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
