Basketball Recap: Northbrook Comes Up Short

Northbrook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were dealt a 94-32 loss at the hands of the Cy-Fair Bobcats. If the Raiders were looking for revenge after losing 99-44 to the Bobcats when the teams met back in February of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

When it comes to explaining why Northbrook lost, don't look at Andrew Alvarez. Despite the final result, he posted 13 points. Player #32 also deserves some recognition as he scored his first points of the season.

Northbrook's defeat dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Cy-Fair, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-11.

Northbrook didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 50-38 loss against Jersey Village on the 20th. As for Cy-Fair, they have also already played their next matchup, a 55-53 defeat against Cypress Ridge on the 20th.
