Baseball Preview: Balboa Buccaneers vs. Washington Eagles
For the second straight game, Balboa will face off against Washington. Balboa is taking a road trip to challenge Washington at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Balboa comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
On Wednesday, Balboa didn't have quite enough to beat Washington and fell 5-4.
For Washington's part, Allan Au made a splash while hitting and pitching. He struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits (and only one walk). Au has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
