Volleyball Recap: Navajo Prep Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Navajo Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Gallup Bengals. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Bengals when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Navajo Prep started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-15, 25-19, 25-22.

Navajo Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Gallup, they pushed their record up to 7-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Navajo Prep will square off against Tohatchi at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gallup, they will host Piedra Vista at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
