Soccer Recap: Houston Academy Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Houston Academy can now relate to. They fell just short of the Providence Christian Eagles by a score of 2-1 on Friday. Having soared to a lofty eight goals in the game before, Houston Academy couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Nate Selig, who's now up to 75 this season.

Houston Academy's loss dropped their record down to 21-6. As for Providence Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-3-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Houston Academy nor Providence Christian have any future games scheduled.
