Baseball Recap: Cory-Rawson Fighting Hornets vs. Ada Bulldogs
Cory-Rawson took care of business in their home opener on Thursday (barely). They skirted past the Ada Bulldogs 4-2.
Blake Boehm spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on four hits and racked up 16 Ks.
On the hitting side, Hank Walters was excellent, going 2-for-2 with four RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Carson Skulina, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
Ada are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
