Volleyball Recap: Marshall Takes a Loss

Marshall lost against Forest Hills Northern back in September of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Redhawks fell 2-0 to the Huskies.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-17.

Brynn Johnson paced Marshall's offense, picking up eight kills. Johnson got some help from Addie Carden and her 12 assists.

Marshall's loss dropped their record down to 31-11-5. As for Forest Hills Northern, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 36-8-1 record this season.

Marshall didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Lansing Catholic on the 1st. As for Forest Hills Northern, they will square off against Ottawa Hills at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
