Basketball Recap: Radford Comes Up Short

Radford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 43-41 heartbreaker at the hands of the Nanakuli Golden Hawks. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Golden Hawks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.

Radford's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Nanakuli, their victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-6.

While Radford had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
