Softball Recap: Glencoe Wins Going Away Against Piedmont

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Glencoe had no problem doing just that on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Piedmont Bulldogs as they made off with a 12-2 victory. The Yellowjackets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by seven runs or more this season.

Glencoe's win bumped their record up to 9-20. As for Piedmont, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-13.

Coincidentally, Glencoe and Piedmont will both be playing Ohatchee the next time they take the field. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Indians on Saturday, while the Yellowjackets will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
