Columbia came tearing into Saturday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the College Place Hawks by a score of 60-53. That's more bragging rights for the Coyotes, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Columbia's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for College Place, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-4 record.

Columbia will be playing in front of their home fans against Non Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for College Place, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Zillah at 5:45 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
