Soccer Recap: Sahuaro Comes Up Short

The matchup between Sahuaro and Empire on Friday hardly resembled the 1-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Sahuaro Cougars lost 7-1 to the Empire Ravens. The Cougars just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Sahuaro's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Empire, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Sahuaro will host Thatcher at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Empire, they are taking a road trip to take on Cholla at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
