Carlmont has gone 8-2 against Sequoia recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Scots will welcome the Ravens at 6:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Thursday.

Sequoia will be up against a hot Carlmont squad: the team just extended their winning streak to six. Everything went the Scots' way against Half Moon Bay on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

The win didn't come easy: Half Moon Bay scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-18, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Sequoia got the win against Hillsdale on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Ravens have posted against the Fighting Knights since September 29, 2022.

Sequoia never let Hillsdale on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-23, 25-20.

Carlmont better focus on containing Joslin Fiel and Jayda McGlennon as the pair were huge in Sequoia's win. Fiel had 21 digs and three assists, while McGlennon had eight digs and two aces. What's more, McGlennon racked up 31 assists, the most she's had over her last eight matchups.

Sequoia's win bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Carlmont, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Carlmont beat Sequoia 2-0 when the teams last played back in September. Do the Scots have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Ravens turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
