Softball Game Preview: Susquehanna Valley Sabers vs. Union-Endicott Tigers

The Susquehanna Valley Sabers will square off against the Union-Endicott Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Susquehanna Valley will come into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.

Susquehanna Valley's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Windsor Central as they made off with a 15-0 win. The Sabers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by 13 runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Union-Endicott lost a heartbreaker to Maine-Endwell when they met back in May of 2024, and they left with a heavy heart again on Wednesday. The Tigers lost 13-3 to the Spartans. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 28, 2023, but that streak is no more.

Susquehanna Valley's victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0. As for Union-Endicott, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.
