Soccer Game Preview: Willamette vs. North Medford

The Willamette Wolverines are taking a road trip to take on the North Medford Black Tornado at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Willamette's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Wednesday, Willamette didn't have quite enough to beat Sheldon and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, it was a classic North v. South duel when North Medford challenged South Medford on Wednesday. The Black Tornado and the Panthers finished up their contest with a 2-2 draw. The win was some much needed relief for North Medford as it spelled an end to their six-match losing streak.

North Medford's draw makes their record 1-8-2 this season. As for Willamette, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4-4.

Willamette beat North Medford 2-0 in their previous matchup back in September. Do the Wolverines have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Black Tornado turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
