Hough had won three straight games and Ethan Royal did his part to make it four on Friday. The Huskies walked away with a 28-21 win over the Mooresville Blue Devils with plenty of help from Royal, who rushed for 154 yards and two TDs while picking up 9.6 yards per carry, and also threw for 102 yards on eight of 19 attempts. His longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards.

Hough's defense made their presence known, laying out Brody Norman. four times. That dominant display was truly a team effort as four different players picked up one apiece. Samari Matthews got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Hough's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Mooresville, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Coming up, Hough will be playing at home against New Bern at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mooresville, they will head out on the road to face off against East Forsyth at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles' defense has only allowed 14.5 points per game this season, so the Blue Devils' offense will have their work cut out for them.
