Soccer Recap: Timberlane Comes Up Short

Timberlane lost against Merrimack back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Owls fell 3-1 to the Tomahawks. That's two games in a row now that Timberlane have lost by exactly two goals.

Timberlane has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season. As for Merrimack, they pushed their record up to 7-3-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Timberlane will challenge rival Nashua North at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Merrimack is set to square off against their familiar foe Dover at 4:00 p.m. on the 17th.
