Basketball Recap: Chester Comes Up Short

If Chester was feeling good fresh off their 56-23 takedown of Buford last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Chester Cyclones took a 46-30 bruising from the Union County Yellowjackets on Monday. The match marked the Cyclones' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Chester fell to 6-1. As for Union County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chester won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against York at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Chester's defense has only allowed 29 points per game this season, so York's offense will have their work cut out for them.
