Basketball Recap: Wayland Comes Up Short

After flying high against Neighborhood House Charter last Monday, Wayland came back down to earth. The Wayland Warriors lost 74-51 to the Acton-Boxborough The Revolution on Tuesday. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the The Revolution recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Wayland's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Acton-Boxborough, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wayland has already played their next matchup (against Cambridge Rindge & Latin), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Acton-Boxborough will challenge Tewksbury Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Tewksbury Memorial's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five contests.
