The third road contest was the charm for Roy, as they earned their first away win of the season. They came out on top against the Clearfield Falcons by a score of 28-21 on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Royals in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won nine in a row.

Moresby Tauiautusa was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 97 yards and three TDs on only 13 carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Roy was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 213 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 162 rushing yards in five consecutive matchups.

Clearfield's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Brik Barlow, who threw for 179 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and Landon Hittle, who picked up 87 receiving yards and two scores.

Roy picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-5. As for Clearfield, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 2-5.

Looking ahead, Roy will be playing at home against Northridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Clearfield, they are taking a road trip to take on Bonneville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Falcons will be up against the Lakers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 47.14 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
