Basketball Recap: Garfield County's Luck Changes for the Better on Saturday

Garfield County had to endure a seven-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They took down the Powder River County Hawks 51-37 on Saturday. That's more bragging rights for the Mustangs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Garfield County's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Powder River County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

As of now, neither Garfield County nor Powder River County have any future games scheduled.
