Irvin has been struggling as of late, and they have yet to win a game this season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mountain View Lobos on Tuesday. If the Rockets were looking for revenge after losing 6-0 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Irvin's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4-1. As for Mountain View, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Irvin will host Bowie at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Irvin is facing Bowie at the right time seeing as Bowie is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Mountain View, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Harmony Science Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Mountain View will also cruise into their next game with the timing on their side: Harmony Science Academy will have lost three straight heading into Friday's contest.
