Volleyball Recap: Franklin Comes Up Short

Franklin lost against BVCHEA HomeSchool back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lions fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 3-2.

Franklin took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 22-25, 23-25, 25-14, 15-12.

Franklin has been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 17 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-18 record this season. As for BVCHEA HomeSchool, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Franklin will square off against Little River Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for BVCHEA HomeSchool, they will take on Caldwell at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
