Basketball Preview: Roosevelt Mustangs vs. North Dallas Bulldogs
Roosevelt is on a seven-game streak of home losses, the Bulldogs a 12-game streak of away losses (dating back to last season), but someone's luck is about to change. The Roosevelt Mustangs will take on the North Dallas Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Friday, Roosevelt lost to the Eagles on the road by a decisive 50-35 margin.
Meanwhile, North Dallas was beaten by the Vikings 56-18 on Saturday. North Dallas was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-4.
Roosevelt has traveled a rocky road recently having lost 14 of their last 15 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-19 record this season. As for North Dallas, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-16.
Roosevelt didn't have too much breathing room in their match against the Bulldogs in their previous meeting back in January, but they still walked away with a 40-36 victory. Will Roosevelt repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
