 It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Billingsley had no problem doing just that  on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Autaugaville Eagles  a   15-0 shutout. That's more bragging rights for Billingsley, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
  Kaliyah McCary made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. McCary was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-2.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Sadie Primm, who  went 2-for-2 with a  home run, two  runs,  and a  triple. Another player making a difference was  Brylin Tomlin, who  went 1-for-1 with two  runs, a  triple,  and two  RBI.
 Billingsley is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 16-20 record  this season. As for Autaugaville,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 8-8.
