Preview: Incarnate Word vs. St. Agnes Academy
Incarnate Word has enjoyed a four-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge the St. Agnes Academy Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Incarnate Word will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 431st, while St. Agnes Academy is ranked 127th).
Incarnate Word has not won a game since January 6th, a trend which continued on Saturday. They fell just short of Village by a score of 3-2.

Niabel Aguilar did their best for Incarnate Word and scored both of Incarnate Word's goals. The pair have combined for a total of 16 so far this season.
Meanwhile, St. Agnes Academy scored the most points they've had all season to find success back in January. They never let Incarnate Word onto the board and left with a 7-0 victory. The victory was just what St. Agnes Academy needed coming off of a 5-1 defeat in their prior contest.
Incarnate Word has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-10-1 record this season. As for St. Agnes Academy, they now have a winning record of 3-2-1.
Incarnate Word might still be hurting after the 7-0 loss they got from St. Agnes Academy in their previous matchup back in January. Can Incarnate Word avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
