Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask CORE Butte). They were the clear victors by a 21-8 margin over the Maxwell Panthers on Tuesday. With that win, the Lynx brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

CORE Butte got a big performance out of Taylee Aars, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Mara Gonzalez, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances.

CORE Butte always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .700. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

CORE Butte's victory bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Maxwell, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 13 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.
