Preview: Waelder vs. Luling
The Waelder Wildcats will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against the Luling Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on February 14th.
Waelder scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged Luling out 2-1. Perhaps unsurprisinly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.
Waelder was led to victory by the tag-team duo of
ROBERTO MEDINA and
Julian Sustita, who scored both of Waelder's goals. Those were goals were season-firsts for both players.
Waelder's victory bumped their record up to 1-3-1. As for Luling, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Waelder beat Luling by a goal when the teams last played on Wednesday, winning 2-1. Will Waelder repeat their success, or does Luling have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
