Leonard's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Atlantic Christian Sharks as they made off with a 20-3 victory. The result was nothing new for the Lancers, who have now won six games by six runs or more so far this season.
Yanina Varela made a big impact no matter where she played. She pitched four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
