Baseball Recap: Plymouth South Comes Up Short

Plymouth South blew Hingham out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Hingham got their revenge. The Panthers fell just short of the Harbormen by a score of 2-0. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Panthers were not able to get on the board.

This is the second loss in a row for Plymouth South and nudges their season record down to 4-7. Even worse, they were so close both times: the defeats came by an average of only 1.5 runs. As for Hingham, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season.

Plymouth South is taking a road trip to challenge Pembroke at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hingham, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Silver Lake Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
