Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Decatur). They came out on top against the Oakwood Academy Mustangs by a score of 74-65 on Tuesday.

Despite the loss, Oakwood Academy still got an impressive performance from Jadon Williams, who dropped a double-double with 30 points and 15 rebounds. Williams is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last 13 games he's played dating back to last season. Jamel Myrie was another key player, putting up eight points and eight boards.

Decatur now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Oakwood Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.

Coming up, Decatur will square off against Lawrence County at 7:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Oakwood Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 68-64 victory against Park Crossing on the 26th.
