Holy Spirit Catholic had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came out on top against the Sipsey Valley Bears by a score of 10-5. This was a revenge game for the Saints: when they faced off against the Bears back in February, they had to take a 17-0 defeat.

Holy Spirit Catholic's win bumped their record up to 9-12-1. As for Sipsey Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 15 of their last 16 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-20 record this season.
