Grant Union entered their tilt with Pilot Rock on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 10-7 victory over the Rockets. This was payback for the Prospectors, who suffered an 8-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Grant Union's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-5. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Pilot Rock, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Grant Union will face off against Vale at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pilot Rock, they will host Weston-McEwen/Griswold at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. The Rockets are facing the Tiger Scots at the right time seeing as the Tiger Scots are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
