Baseball Recap: Belleview Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Belleview's offense. They lost 8-0 to the South Lake Eagles on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Rattlers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Belleview saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colton Morris, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Belleview's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for South Lake, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Belleview has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against St. John Lutheran on the 17th. As for South Lake, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Mount Dora on the 17th.
