Baseball Recap: Seminary Makes It 15 in a Row at Home

It's playoff time, and Seminary had no trouble coming through when it counted. They skirted past the St. Patrick Fighting Irish 6-5. The win was familiar territory for the Bulldogs, who have now won four matches in a row.

The team relied heavily on Jomarrion 'JoJo' Flowers, who went 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March.

Seminary pushed their record up to 26-5 with the victory, which was their 15th straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for St. Patrick, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 18-10.

Seminary will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Fighting Irish: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
