Basketball Recap: New Hampton Comes Up Short

New Hampton lost against Waukon back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The New Hampton Chickasaws fell 67-59 to the Waukon Indians. The Chickasaws have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

New Hampton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Waukon, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-5.

New Hampton will head out to take on Columbus at 7:45 p.m. on Monday. New Hampton is facing Columbus at the right time seeing as Columbus is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Waukon, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 70-40 loss against Wapsie Valley on the 18th.
