Volleyball Recap: Mt. Carmel Comes Up Short

Mt. Carmel's tournament run continued when they took on Mater Dei Catholic on Saturday. The Sundevils fell 2-0 to the Crusaders.

Mt. Carmel has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-19 record this season. As for Mater Dei Catholic, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 20 of their last 22 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-9 record this season.

Mt. Carmel will venture away from home to square off against Rancho Bernardo at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mater Dei Catholic, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Patrick Henry on the 26th.
