Staunton is a perfect 7-0 against Rockbridge County since March of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Storm will host the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Staunton's favor as the squad sits on six straight wins at home while Rockbridge County has been banged up by seven consecutive losses on the road.

Staunton's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Wilson Memorial. That's two games straight that Staunton have won by exactly two goals.

Meanwhile, Rockbridge County fell victim to Rocktown and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They lost 4-0 to the Raptors. While losing is never fun, Rockbridge County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 248th, while Rocktown are ranked 23rd).

Rockbridge County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Staunton, their victory bumped their record up to 12-1.
