Putnam extended their winning streak to three on Wednesday, bumping their season record up to 7-13 in the process. They walked away with a 13-8 win over the Centennial Eagles. 13 seems to be a good number for the Kingsmen as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.
As for Centennial, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 14 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season. They have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
For Centennial's part, Emma Anundi- Boland made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple.
