The Seminole Warhawks will head out on the road to  challenge  the Clearwater Tornadoes  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Seminole is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2  runs per game  this season.
Seminole is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup  on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out Pasco  12-10. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  win the Warhawks have posted  since March 26, 2024.
The team  relied heavily on  Hannah Sorenson, who  went a perfect 4-for-4 with one  home run, five  RBI,  and three  runs. That's the most  RBI  she has posted since back in April of 2024.  Kaydin Whitenton also deserves some recognition as  she  launched her first  home run of the season.
 Seminole was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .424. They are  a perfect 4-0 when  they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Clearwater's rock-solid pitchers showed up for the team's fourth consecutive shutout  on Wednesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Gulf  a   1-0 shutout. The Tornadoes haven't had any issues with the Buccaneers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive  victory against them.
 Clearwater saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Juleah Patterson, who  went 1-for-2 with two  stolen bases and one  run.  Jadah Nicholls was another,  going 1-for-2 with one  double and one  RBI.
 Clearwater's win was  their sixth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 17-9. Those  home  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Seminole, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-12 record  this season.
