Football Recap: Stryker Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Stryker lost against Waldron back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Panthers were dealt a 56-22 defeat at the hands of the Spartans. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Panthers came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked seventh in Ohio, while the Spartans are ranked 56th in Michigan).

Seth Williams continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Waldron, throwing for 145 yards and three touchdowns while completing 76.9% of his passes, and also rushing for 34 yards and one TD. What's more, Williams racked up 152.2 passer rating, the most he's had since back in September of 2024. Carmen Kurtz was another key player, picking up 70 receiving yards and one score.

Stryker has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Waldron, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.

As of now, neither Stryker nor the Spartans have any future games scheduled.
