Baseball Recap: Anahuac Panthers vs. Huntington Red Devils
With a playoff win on the line, Anahuac rose to the challenge on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Huntington Red Devils 4-3. This was a revenge game for the Panthers: when they faced off against the Red Devils on Saturday, they had to take a 10-1 loss.
Logan Trotter made a splash no matter where he played. He struck out ten batters over eight innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
