It's playoff time, and Clear Springs had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 9-4 win over the Summer Creek Bulldogs on Friday. The Chargers haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Clear Springs got a massive performance out of Makenzie Thomas, who fired off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 2-for-3. That's the most home runs Thomas has posted since back in February. Eryn Polite was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Clear Springs was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .407. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Summer Creek only posted a batting average of .185.

Clear Springs' win bumped their record up to 18-6. As for Summer Creek, the loss snapped their winning streak at nine games and leaves them with a 25-5 record.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Clear Springs beat the Bulldogs by a score of 12-5 later that day.
