Volleyball Recap: Bucklin Extends Winning Streak to Three

Bucklin had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They didn't even let the Minneola Wildcats on the board, marking their second-straight 2-0 shutout. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Bucklin was: they took both sets by at least 14 points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-6.

Tristan Stout paced Bucklin's offense, picking up eight kills. Stout got some help from Emmerson Kirk and her 18 assists. Anya Hays controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Bucklin's record is now 21-11. As for Minneola, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-26.

Bucklin wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Rolla on the 21st. Minneola does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
