Soccer Game Preview: Effingham County vs. Savannah Christian

Effingham County is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Savannah Christian a four-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Effingham County Rebels will be playing in front of their home fans against the Savannah Christian Raiders at 5:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Effingham County fell victim to Lakeside and their airtight defense on Thursday. They came up short against the Panthers, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, Effingham County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 233rd, while Lakeside are ranked 73rd).

Meanwhile, Savannah Christian also failed to score in their most recent game. They lost 7-0 to Toombs County two weeks ago.

Effingham County's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Savannah Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.
