Volleyball Recap: Archbishop Mccarthy Starts Season with Win at Home

Archbishop McCarthy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. Everything went their way against the Cooper City Cowboys as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Mavericks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cowboys, too.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Archbishop McCarthy was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-13, 25-15.

The loss snapped Cooper City's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-2 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Archbishop McCarthy will welcome Cardinal Gibbons at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cooper City, they will challenge Deerfield Beach at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
